Relief from Anxiety
Anxiety
Anxiety can feel overwhelming, leaving your mind busy and your body on edge. You might find yourself constantly worrying, overthinking, or struggling to switch off, even when you want to relax.
At times, it can feel exhausting as though you’re always “on,” scanning for what might go wrong, or finding it hard to feel calm and settled in yourself. It can shape how you experience yourself, your relationships, and the wider demands of life.
Over time, anxiety can place the mind and body in a state of heightened alert, or sometimes lead to withdrawal and emotional exhaustion. This may affect sleep, concentration, emotional balance, and your ability to feel settled or at ease in your own body.
My work recognises the close relationship between mind and body. I offer a calm, collaborative therapeutic space where experiences can be explored with care, curiosity, and professional attention.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, depression and the longer-term effects of adverse or destabilising experiences. Therapy is paced thoughtfully and tailored to your needs.
How anxiety can show up:
Anxiety can affect people in different ways. You may notice:
A racing or intrusive stream of thoughts
Difficulty sleeping or switching off
Physical tension, restlessness, or a sense of unease
Feeling overwhelmed or easily triggered
A tendency to overthink, doubt yourself, or expect the worst
Over time, this can impact your confidence, relationships, and overall sense of wellbeing.
How I can help you:
Using hypnotherapy alongside therapeutic approaches such as CBT, parts work, for example we gently explore the patterns that may be keeping anxiety in place.
I support you to develop practical ways to feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions, while helping to quiet a busy mind and ease tension in the body.
Over time, this can create space for you to respond to life in ways that feel more balanced and resourced, with a greater sense of confidence and ease.
